Thanks to an overwhelming response, a second screening of THE ACCIDENTAL MAYOR, a new documentary by award-winning filmmaker Larry Locke has been scheduled to benefit the Burroughs Community Center.  The documentary chronicles John Fabrizi's years as the Mayor of Bridgeport and will be shown on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 7:00 P.M.

  Saturday February 9th is Burroughs 1st annual Freezin' for a Reason! Dozens of supporters will be running into the ice cold waters of Long Island Sound to help raise money for the Burroughs Community Center ~ and we want you to join in on the fun!

Police Chief Norwood wants to hear from us.  He is giving all stakeholders an opportunity to address their neighborhood's specific trouble spots.  He will have police teams present that will break out into discussion groups to address our respective issues and find solutions.    Pleas
