Gail Robinson

Gail Robinson, GRI, e-PRO is a REALTOR with William Raveis Real Estate in Southport, who specializes in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport. She has achieved the designation of Exceptional Properties Specialist awarded to agents experienced in selling high-end properties and she is a member of the Chairman's Club, which means she is among the top 10% of Raveis agents in terms of volume and sales. She also received the Customer Service Excellence Award based on testimonials from very satisfied clients.   

Gail has the REALTOR designation, which is attained by less than 50% of all real estate agents and she has achieved her GRI designation from the Graduate Realtor Institute which is held by less than 20% of all REALTORS. Gail has also obtained her e-PRO designation, which provides expertise in the use of Internet technology and is held by less than 8% of all REALTORS.

Prior to her real estate career, Gail held internal and external consultancy positions with Fortune 500 companies, such as PepsiCo, Citigroup, Unilever, and Pfizer. She graduated with her Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1990 in Organizational Psychology.

Gail is a community activist who has been involved with the Black Rock community for over 20 years as a founding member of the St. Mary's Block Watch, Black Rock Neighborhood Block Watch, and the Ash Creek Conservation Association, Inc. She remains active in protecting the Ash Creek tidal estuary as President of the Ash Creek Conservation Association, a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization. She was awarded the Black Rock Leadership Award in May of 2007 for her many years of service to the community.

Gail believes blogging is emerging as an important technological tool for community activists and that by combining her professional interests in real estate with her community interests in this forum everyone can benefit. Blogging allows members of the community to participate online and community organizations to post events and information directly without an intermediary. This ensures that information will be refreshed and updated by its originators. It provides a resource for community members and an opportunity for the sponsor and community organizations to share their information.
