MURDER AT THE CHIMNEYS: A Special Event to Benefit The Discovery Museum Solve the murder mystery while touring through the Designer Show House at the famed mansion, The Chimneys. Examine each room, gather the clues, solve the murder and win a spectacular prize. Gourmet Desserts, After Dinner Drinks, Wine, Champagne and Murder!
DESCRIPTION:
Murder at the Chimneys is more than just a party …it is an experience! Built in the 1920’s, this stately Georgian mansion is the backdrop to a real “Who Done It” all staged to delight the senses. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with champagne by the servants and given the rules of the game. After this, the devoted Butler will arrive, explain the specifics and then personally escort the guests into the mansion for the adventure to begin. Guests will tour the mansion that has been decorated by premier area interior designers to gather clues as to “Who Did It?” There will be casts of characters in period dress throughout the house that will deliver the clues to the guests as well as provide entertainment. Once the clues are gathered, guests will then be allowed to enter the “Secret Ballroom” where there will be food, drink, music and their very own forensic lab staffed by scientists to assist in solving the mystery. At approximately 9:30 PM, guests will be invited to gather and sit to watch the drama unfold. There will be suspects galore, a detective and yes, even the butler. Who did it you ask? You can only solve the murder if you are there. There will be glorious prizes for three lucky winners. AN EVENING TO REMEMBER
