The Black Rock NRZ invites you to be “One voice” with your neighbors in creating a vision for our Community!
One community workshops is currently scheduled:
• Saturday, August 4th "Analysis and Visioning" – from 8:30 am to 12:30 p.m.:       Black Rock Arts Center

Several other workshops are in the planning stages

• Saturday, September 15 "Economic and Neighborhood Development" (changed from September 8th as of 7/18/07) – time & location TBD
• Saturday, October 6 "Design Charette" - time & location TBD

Local empowerment through local planning—the Black Rock NRZ is a new kind of partnership between the community and city government. It shifts the “start of planning” to the local level. You can participate in one of six special areas of community focus:

• Business & Economic Development
• Education
• Arts-Entertainment-Culture
• Land Use-Historic Development
• Quality of Life-Environment-Public Safety
• Community Outreach & Communication
