NRZ Stakeholders Meeting - May 21
May 13, 2007 by Gail Robinson comment
Please join us on Monday, May 21 at 6:30 PM at the Burroughs Community Center at 2470 Fairfield Avenue for the next Black Rock NRZ Stakeholders Meeting.
On the last Monday of each month, "Stakeholders" gather together in a continuing series of meetings of Black Rock residents and businesses to establish an official NRZ (Neighborhood Revitalization Zone). If you live in Black Rock, you are invited to attend!
Local empowerment through local planning - the NRZ's are a new kind of partnership between communities and government that shifts the "start of planning" to the local neighborhood level.
With stakeholders working together we can bypass the "red tape" that often puts up barriers to neighborhood improvements and proper developments.
Our success can only be realized with your active participation so we can speak with ONE VOICE! With your support, the Black Rock NRZ will be instrumental in the development of the city's Master Plan.
One Voice For:
- Land Use - Zoning - Neighborhood Planning
- Transportation and Infrastucture
- Municipal Facilities & Services - Housing
- Economic Development, Open Space & Environment
